A portion of the fees collected for the Support Our Troops license plate will be distributed to SupportOurTroops.org, a nonpartisan patriotic civilian-led organization 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which promotes support for and bolsters deployed troops (our neighbors) and their families, including care packages, morale and assistance, and special events. The fee for the plate is $30.00 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee.

There are no special requirements for this license plate. A portion of this fee will be deposited into a Special Olympic Fund. The fee for the plate is $50 every two years in addition to the registration fee.

The South Carolina Stands with Israel license plate does not require a membership and is available to all SC residents. A portion of the fees collected for the plate will be distributed to Chabad of Charleston and will be used to support charities that show support for Israel. The fee is $20 every two years in addition to the regular vehicle registration fee.

The Purdue University license plate is available to all South Carolina residents. The cost is $60 every two years in addition to the regular registration fees. Proceeds from the sale of this plate will go to the Purdue University Alumni Association for scholarships for SC residents. The North Carolina State University license plate is sponsored by the North Carolina State University Alumni Association. Proceeds from the plate will be used to promote the university. The cost for the plate is $70 every two years in addition to the regular registration fees. You must submit a completed Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) along with required fees.

Georgia Tech license plates are $70 every two years in addition to the registration fee every two years. A portion of the special plate fee will be used for scholarships to Georgia Tech students from South Carolina. You may use the Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) to apply for this plate. This plate can be purchased for cars or light trucks with an empty weight of 9,000 pounds or less and a gross vehicle weight of 11,000 pounds or less.

The Chase Away Cancer plate is available to all SC residents. The fee for the plate is $50 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee. A portion of the fees goes to support childhood cancer research in SC. This plate is also available for purchase online.

The Auburn University license plate is sponsored by the Auburn Alumni Association. Proceeds from the plate will be used to provide scholarships to South Carolina students who attend Auburn University. The cost for the plate is $70 every two years in addition to the regular registration fees. You must submit a completed Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) along with required fees. This plate is available in field offices and through the mail.

The Appalachian State University license plate is sponsored by the Appalachian State University Foundation. Proceeds from the plate will be used to provide scholarships to South Carolina students who attend Appalachian State University.
