The North Carolina State University license plate is sponsored by the North Carolina State University Alumni Association. Proceeds from the plate will be used to promote the university. The cost for the plate is $70 every two years in addition to the regular registration fees. You must submit a completed Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) along with required fees.
