The Power of Art license plate is available to all SC residents. The fee for the plate is $70 in addition to the regular registration fee. Proceeds from the sale of the plate will go to supporting Lake City Creative Alliance's year-round arts education and cultural programming.

This license plate fee is $40 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee. This plate can be purchased for cars or light trucks with an empty weight of 9,000 pounds or less and a gross vehicle weight of 11,000 pounds or less. To apply for the plate, you must present a Tribal Identification Card and the Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95).

A portion of the fees collected for the Play Tennis! license plate go to the South Carolina Tennis Patrons Foundation for scholarships, junior player grants, and programs for at-risk youth. The cost for the plate is $30 every two years in addition to the regular registration fees.

Issued to members of SC Volunteer Fire Unit. Must be authorized by Chief Officer of the Fire Unit.

South Carolina Beekeepers Association plates are available to all SC residents. The fee is $40 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee. A portion of the fees collected will be distributed to the South Carolina Beekeepers Association.

A portion of the fees collected for the Omega Psi Phi license plate will be used for academic scholarships. To apply for the plate, you must present a current organizational membership card, a certificate of membership, or a letter on organizational letterhead that states you are a current member. The fee for the plate is $70 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee.

South Carolina Association for Pupil Transportation plates are available to all SC residents. The fee is $25 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee. A portion of the fees collected will be distributed to the South Carolina Association for Pupil Transportation.

South Carolina "Finding Cures. Saving Children" plates are available to all SC residents. The fee is $40 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee. A portion of the fees collected will be distributed to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.

The Back the Badge license plate is sponsored by The Fraternal Order of Police. The plate is available to all SC Residents for a fee of $40 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee. You must submit a completed Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) along with required fees. Proceeds from the sale of this plate will be used to show support of law enforcement.

The Clemson University Men’s Four Time NCAA Champions plate is available to all South Carolina residents. It is $70 in addition to the regular registration fee. You may also get a personalized version of the plate that contains letters or numbers or both and the “&” symbol. Text is limited to six characters including spaces and will be granted based on availability. The personalized version of this plate is available by mail in only. The fee to get this plate personalized includes $30 personalization fee and $70 special plate fee in addition to regular registration fee.
