This license plate fee is $40 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee. This plate can be purchased for cars or light trucks with an empty weight of 9,000 pounds or less and a gross vehicle weight of 11,000 pounds or less. To apply for the plate, you must present a Tribal Identification Card and the Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95).
