You must provide a Department of Defense Form DD-214, Retirement Order, copy of military ID reflecting retired status, or other verification that applicant is a retired member of the US Armed Forces. The cost for the plate is the regular registration fee. You may be issued three plates within the Armed Forces Retired plate class to include Armed Forces Retired and Armed Forces Retired Motorcycle. This plate is available by mail only.
