SCDMV Express Kiosk Change

The SCDMV Express kiosk at the Publix at Thornblade Village in Greer is relocating to the Publix at Poplar Springs Plaza, 2153 East Main St, Duncan, SC 29334, in Spartanburg County. The new location goes live Tuesday, July 14. Customers can continue to use the kiosks in Columbia and Summerville, or complete transactions online.

The Pearl Harbor license plate is available to South Carolina residents who were a member of the United States Armed Forces on December 7, 1941, were on station on December 7, 1941, during the hours of 7:55 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., Hawaii time at Pearl Harbor, the Island of Oahu, or offshore at a distance not exceeding three miles; and received an honorable discharge from the United States Armed Forces.

All applications for Pearl Harbor plates must be verified by the South Carolina State Chairman of Pearl Harbor Survivors.

The cost for the plate is the regular registration fee. This plate can be purchased for cars, motorcycles or light trucks with an empty weight of 9,000 pounds or less and a gross vehicle weight of 11,000 pounds or less. You may be issued three plates. This plate is available by mail only.
