Please be aware that some customers recently have been unable to print a copy of their Motor Vehicle Record during the order process. However, all customers continue to receive an official copy of their records via the mail. Please ensure that your mailing address is updated in the SCDMV system. The SCDMV regrets any inconvenience as it works on this issue.
You may buy your own three-year or ten-year driving record at any time online.
To get the full report of another driver, you must have the driver's consent or have a specific reason for the information as found under the federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994. These uses include, but are not limited to:
The full report is $10. You may also request a copy by mail by completing a Request for Driver Information (SCDMV Form MV-70). Provide as much information as possible on the form and mail it to the SCDMV address on the form. Include a $10 payment made out to the SCDMV (do not mail cash).
