The Lions International plate is available to all SC residents. The fee for the plate is $30 every two years in additional to the regular registration fee.

The Kiwanis International Foundation license plate is available to all South Carolina residents. Proceeds from the sale of this plate will be distributed to the Carolinas District Kiwanis Foundation. The fee for the plate is $30 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee.
The fee for the Hunting Island State Park license plate is $50 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee. A portion of the fees collected will go toward the Friends of Hunting Island State Park, Inc. for use on projects benefiting the park.
The Homeownership: The American Dream license plate is available for all private passenger carrying motor vehicles and light pick-ups having an empty weight of 9,000 lbs. or less and a gross vehicle weight of 11,000 lbs. or less. A portion of the fees collected for this plate is administered by the SC Association of Realtors for distribution to Habitat for Humanity International or another non-profit fund that supports the construction of new homes for low income families. The fee for the plate is $100 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee. You may also get a personalized version of the plate that contains letters or numbers or both and the “&” symbol. Text is limited to six characters including spaces and will be granted based on availability. The personalized version of this plate is available by mail in only. The fee to get this plate personalized includes $30 personalization fee and $100 special plate fee in addition to regular registration fee.
The Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune license plate is available to all South Carolina residents. The plate recognizes Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, who was born in Mayesville, and her many contributions to education. The cost for the plate is $30 every two years in addition to the registration fee. Proceeds from this plate will support the construction of the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune museum, restaurant, and nature trail and support tourism in Mayesville, Sumter, and South Carolina.
The fee for the Donate Life license plate is $30 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee. A portion of the fees collected will go toward promoting organ and tissue donation in South Carolina and providing patient assistance to transplant recipients.
The Coastal Conservation Association license plate is available to all South Carolina residents. The fee is $25 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee. A portion of the fees collected will be used for marine resource projects.
The Choose Life SC license plate is available to all South Carolina residents. Fees from the sale of the plate will be distributed to SC Citizens for Life/AKA Choose Life SC to support pregnancy care centers. The fee for the plate is $35 every two years in addition to the regular registration fee.
A portion of the fees collected for this license plate go to the Camp Sertoma Fund. Although Camp Sertoma is a membership-based organization, the plates are available to all South Carolina residents. The cost for the plate is $70 every two years in addition to the regular registration fees.
The fee for the Breast Cancer Awareness license plate is $70 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee. The plate is available to the general public and has no special requirements. The South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control uses 50% of the proceeds collected for screening funding. The other half of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society for quality of life programs for breast cancer patients and caregivers.
