The University of Alabama license plate is sponsored by the University of Alabama Alumni Association. Proceeds from the plate will be used to provide scholarships to SC students who attend the University of Alabama. The cost for the plate is $36 every two years in addition to the regular registration fees. You must submit a completed Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) along with required fees.
