Beware of scam texts seeking payment for an "Unpaid Traffic Fine." Please remember that SCDMV does not send texts to collect on unpaid tickets or tolls.

SCDMV MAINTENANCE

SCDMV will be conducting system maintenance on Sunday, May 3, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. All SCDMV services, including online and kiosks, will be unavailable at that time.

The fee for the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital license plate is $40 every two years in addition to the registration fee. Proceeds from the sale of this plate will be used to implement new programs and services at the hospital.
