Beware of scam texts seeking payment for an "Unpaid Traffic Fine." Please remember that SCDMV does not send texts to collect on unpaid tickets or tolls.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

SCDMV will be performing scheduled maintenance Tuesday, April 28, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. All DMV systems will be unavailable during this time including online services.

A $100 reinstatement fee is required for each suspension unless another amount is required. You can pay reinstatement fees at any branch office.

The address connected to your credit card must match what the SCDMV has on file. If you have since moved out of South Carolina and no longer have a current address in this state, the online payment function will not be available.

If paying by mail, please include your customer number or driver's license number in the correspondence.
