Once the SCDMV processes your application for a dealer license, an SCDMV agent will contact you to schedule an inspection. During this inspection, the agent will determine whether or not your business and procedures qualify you as a motor vehicle dealer. Depending upon your status as a dealer or wholesaler, you must meet certain requirements to pass the inspection.
