Respiratory Therapy license plates are $25 every two years in addition to the registration fee. A portion of the special plate fee will be used for South Carolina Society for Respiratory Care activities, education, scholarships and events. You may use the Application for Special Plate (SCDMV Form MV-95) to apply for this plate. This plate can be purchased for cars or light trucks with an empty weight of 9,000 pounds or less and a gross vehicle weight of 11,000 pounds or less.
