Beware of scam texts seeking payment for an "Unpaid Traffic Fine." Please remember that SCDMV does not send texts to collect on unpaid tickets or tolls.

SCDMV MAINTENANCE

SCDMV will be conducting system maintenance on Sunday, May 3, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. All SCDMV services, including online and kiosks, will be unavailable at that time.

The fee for the Northwestern High School license plate is $70 every two years in addition to the regular motor vehicle registration fee. The plate is available to the general public and there are no special requirements. A portion of the fees collected will be distributed to the Northwestern High School Trojan Club.
