The SCDMV Express kiosk at the Publix at Thornblade Village in Greer is relocating to the Publix at Poplar Springs Plaza, 2153 East Main St, Duncan, SC 29334, in Spartanburg County. The new location goes live Tuesday, July 14. Customers can continue to use the kiosks in Columbia and Summerville, or complete transactions online.
Effective March 7, 2023, the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) will no longer conduct motorcycle skills tests at the Myrtle Beach Commons branch office, located at 1330 Howard Parkway Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The discontinuation of motorcycle skills testing is to increase the CDL testing capability at this office.
Motorcycle skills tests will still be available at the Myrtle Beach branch office located at 1200 21st Ave North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 and Conway, located at 4103 Highway 701 North, Conway, SC 29526.
The SCDMV accepts walk-in road test applicants from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or until the available time slots for that day are filled. SCDMV branches offer appointments Monday through Friday from 2-4:30 p.m.
